This policy explains how Gaeta Wellness handles information you give us through this website, our online forms, online booking and text messages.

Your health records are covered separately

Once you become a patient, your health information is protected by HIPAA and handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you can get at the front desk or by calling 856-983-8889. If this policy and that Notice conflict about your health information, the Notice controls.

What we collect

  • What you enter in our forms or booking pages: for example your name, phone, email, ZIP code, best time to call, appointment time and your answers to the booking questions.
  • Your text-message choices: whether you agreed to texts, when you agreed, the page you agreed on, and your STOP and HELP replies.
  • Payment details: when you pay by card, our payment processor handles your card information. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Website data: standard data such as device, browser, pages visited and IP address, collected by our website host and by the tools described below.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your request, schedule and remind you about appointments, take payment, send texts you agreed to, run and improve our office and website, and meet our legal duties.

Advertising cookies and pixels

Some of our pages use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure whether our ads lead to visits to our pages and requests. The pixel tells Meta only that one of those pages was viewed or that a request was submitted. Our scheduling system may also tell Meta that a request was made or a visit was scheduled. We set these tools up so they do not send your form answers or any health information to Meta. You can limit ad tracking in your browser settings and in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the office: our scheduling, CRM and texting platform, our payment processor and our website host. They may use it only to provide their services to us. Where the law requires, they sign a business associate agreement with us. We also share information when the law requires it or to protect safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messaging: we do not share or sell your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your text opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone except the providers who send our texts for us.

How long we keep it

We keep information as long as we need it for the purposes above and as long as the law requires. Patient records are kept as long as New Jersey law requires.

Your choices

  • Texts: reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. See our Text Message Terms.
  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Access or correct your information: call 856-983-8889 or write to the address above.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or transmission is completely secure.

Children

This website is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
